The Wound
Aphasia affects language in unpredictable ways. Sometimes you know the word but can't say it, sometimes the word comes out wrong, sometimes comprehension itself is affected. Standard communication tools are not built for this variability.
The Answer
CORA provides phrase support, word prompting, and adaptive pacing that adjusts to where you are in recovery. The Fitzgerald Key layout on the eye-gaze keyboard organizes words by category, reducing cognitive load. Library Build Mode lets you save the phrases that matter most: names, places, daily needs.
